Tuesday Apr 23, 2024
Say your (potential) goodbyes, as we are back for Hunted UK's lucky seventh series! Over these six weeks (regardless of Channel 4's broadcast schedule), three people who are all running off in different directions after this episode, in the hope that none of them get caught - Michael, Anthony & Michelle - returned to recap the hunt for twelve new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - concluding with the final episode, capture of Cameron and escape of Jaxon, Nicola & Sade.
In this episode - Michael breaks a promise and ties up a loose end, we discuss Race Across the World, there's another message from Alex Ayling, Doug gets one final undermining, Ray runs out of cliches, we wonder why Kirsty couldn't just catch some fugitives herself, some local knowledge refutes what the Hunters claimed, two of us issue an apology, we wonder where the crying scene was, Michelle googles "Stipples Town", Production have some contingency plans, we go back to the final ascent, there was a major clue that it wasn't a Clean Sweep, Mothers' Week begins, we say our (potential) goodbyes, the podcasts' impact is explained and we worry about some backlash for the banner.
Thank you for listening to this episode - Michael, Logan & Bindles are continuing covering De Mol België every Thursday before we'll be back for more Historians later in the year!
Additional note: Obviously, if this is the end of Civilian Hunted we'll be disappointed, but thank you to everyone who's listened to our Hunted podcasts over the last eight(!) years. Thanks to everyone who's been involved in the show - whether Hunter, Fugitive or Gold Command (love you Kevin!) - and anyone who's interacted with us, whether for one episode or forty-six - we hope this won't be the end!

Get in touch with some old friends, as we are back for Hunted UK's lucky seventh series! Over these six weeks (regardless of Channel 4's broadcast schedule), three people who are mostly length, really - Michael, Anthony & Michelle return to recap the hunt for twelve new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - continuing with the fifth episode and capture of Cathy, Annida and Alex (sadly!).
In this episode - Michael turns the subtitles on, Michelle gives us the update on the Sydney situation, one of the fugitives pops up on another show, an old friend has got in touch, we've been offered an interview, Cathy & Annida's vibrancy is never in doubt, someone takes an ironic trip, we worry we're being trolled, there is a really bad edit, Doug gets undermined, we get a new hero, Michelle hurries things along, there is the most egregious monkeying with the timeline in Hunted history (not including Australia, obviously), everyone's been doing their homework, the trailers are too honest, Anthony spots a reshoot, a week goes missing, we try and guess who'll win and someone gets a maths lesson.
Thank you for listening to this episode - we will see you next week for the finale!
Additional note: Are we ever going to be able to trust the editors again? I'm not sure I can!

Take a literal walk down memory lane, as we are back for Hunted UK's lucky seventh series! Over these six weeks (regardless of Channel 4's broadcast schedule), three people who are still trying to find the Hunters' main asset - Michael, Anthony & Michelle recap the hunt for twelve new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - continuing with the second episode and capture of Steve.
In this episode - Michael's jokes come back to bite him, Michelle's been out socialising, Anthony has had a weekend of two halves, there is some big news to do with an Australian icon, we get a semi-definitive answer on whether fugitives could fly, someone is already dead to us, we try and remember if we saw any posters, the edit slightly misleads us, there is a winner prediction already, we spot some more monkeying with the timeline, Lisa's insults get ranked, Anthony has some experience with the Manchester Hilton, our ire turns to the Hunters, some predictions already come home to roost, Beth may have an advantage and this episode earns a very interesting record.

Be sometimes amazed, as we are back for Hunted UK's lucky seventh series! Over the next six weeks (regardless of Channel 4's broadcast schedule), three people who are never nasty to people's faces - Michael, Anthony & Michelle return to recap the hunt for twelve new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - beginning with the first episode and capture of Christine & Munya.
In this episode - we realise just how long it has been since we last discussed Hunted, Michael has been off making friends of friends, Michelle's been out meeting a good Australian TV host (and also Beau Ryan), there is some scandal brewing with the Hunters, someone tries to get themselves a new nickname, Michelle finds a rare bit of common ground with the Chief, Dr Steve Hersee finds himself on Anthony & Michelle's bad side, we launch a new segment, there's a new bit of eye candy in HQ, someone tells a disappointingly bad pun, Ray tries to convince us that Lisa isn't horrible, the Hunters are pantomime villains again, we try and work out if anyone's getting a winners' edit, Ring doorbells are now a thing, one edit gets (potentially) softened, we wonder if the Hunters actually saw Jack & Alex and we try and work out whose list the Hunters will find.
Thank you for listening to this episode - we will see you next week for Episode 2!
Additional note: Anthony & Michelle are back, and we're so pleased Hunted is too - hopefully it's another fun series!

Attach the series to a jersey and lift it to the rafters, as there is a brand new Chief in town and she's leading the UK's worst-performing police force...and also Cleveland. Over the last three weeks, three people working on bridging the North-South divide - Michael, Anthony & Michelle have returned to recap the hunt for eleven new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - concluding with the final two episodes, capture of Abi, Grace & James and escape of Nathan & Sarah.
In this episode - we discuss our respective weeks for once, Michael hates to be smug, we draw attention to friend of the podcast Rob's video, a Hunter does an AMA, some monkeying with the timeline is finally spotted, the answer to a query we had last week is given (by a fugitive!), Michelle learns about onion rings, Anthony is disappointed when someone gets a confessional, we go behind the curtain to reveal how the radio interviews work, history repeats itself for Karl, Michelle has questions about the Angel of the North, there's a big old First World Problem, the public get a rare bit of praise, the editors forget to disguise the Overt Agent, there's a live rewatch as Michelle needs to hear an insult, Anthony loses touch with the common man (must be very nice), Michael explains how the Hunters got a boat, we reveal the rule for extraction, there's some insider information about what Nathan may have done with his share of the winnings, we debate if there's a chance we'll be covering Hunted Australia and Michelle is asked to say something nice for once about the Chief.

Don't linger, as there is a brand new Chief in town and she's leading the UK's worst-performing police force...and also Cleveland. Each week, three people who would never accuse the wrong neighbour - Michael, Anthony & Michelle return to recap the hunt for eleven new fugitives who are spread out all over the UK in a quest to escape capture and win a share of £100,000 - continuing with the third and fourth episodes and capture of Katie, Liam, Amarinder & Shoba.
In this episode - we have the most chaotic intro ever, and it's all Michelle's fault, there are a few tiny little rants, Michael puts his foot down, the podcast gets rebranded, we wonder why they focused on the salt bin, Michelle reveals how she motivates her children, we explain Katie & Liam's first post-capture thoughts, Anthony gets beard envy, Michelle explains how she categorises certain interactions, Lisa gets ideas above her station, we explain why Hunted can't be live streamed, Sarah does something for the first time in seven years, Amarinder is very Sydney, Michelle makes a foul accusation, Michael fulfils a promise, Catherine obviously gets praised, Michelle explains what would happen if Hunted Australia came to New South Wales, Anthony spoils a joke, we try and work out what happened with Instagram, our final predictions get locked in, we skirt around knowing the extraction point and Anthony wonders if the scheduling has made the series look worse.
