Find quirky things about a group of strangers, because a new decade of Reality TV Warriors begins with Wie is de Mol 2024: Les 9 Atouts du Rik van der Westelaken - and WIDM continues following België's lead and heads back to Mexico! Over these ten weeks, three guys who have never been confused for a middle-aged chubby Spanish looking dude with beard man - Michael, Logan & Bindles - will be recapping and breaking down everything that happens on the show's return to Mexico in our twentieth Mole season, beginning with the Day of the Mole and elimination of Babs!
In this episode - we have our first catch-up in eight months, Michael makes some new enemies, Bindles guesses obscure Eurovision entries, we are not a traitors podcast, our België orders go in a bit early, someone made a booboo on the Suspect List, we can't look at Fairy Bread in the same way, Michael has a theory on the symbols, the scent of tunnel vision is all around us, Logan learns about the Trust Nobody gaps, there's a brief diversion to talk about Survivor UK, Michael talks about Jeopardy (in all forms), Logan's notes make an appearance, Sbab threatens to make an appearance next week, we lock in our first suspects, next week's execution is predicted and someone almost has a very awkward request for a sibling.
You can join in with our First Suspicions game by filling in the form here and play along with this week's Bother's Bar Suspect List here. We will see you next week for Episode 2!
Please note: This episode is intended on being spoiler-free, but references to any season we have already covered (WIDM 10-11, 14, 17-23 and Renaissance; België 4-11) may be made.
Additional note: Rosario's love of bread is definitely going to backfire on him with us around. FOCACCIA!

This...is Episode 500!
Monday Dec 11, 2023
Monday Dec 11, 2023
On this very day ten years ago, a legend was born. Some have described it as "the most important podcast ever to exist". Others aren't related to us (thanks Mum!). Nevertheless, as we officially enter the second decade of Reality TV Warriors, we are looking back in our own special way.
Join Michael and three unsuspecting victims willing participants as we close out 2023 and Year 10 with a very special look back - much to Logan, Michelle & Anthony's utter surprise and terror.
Please note: Thank you so much to everyone who's listened in our first decade. Thanks go to Logan, Michelle, Anthony, Bindles, Eamon, Ben, Heather, Spencer & Ashlyn for all their hard work but most importantly to Michael who's been a part of far too many of these episodes. It has been a genuine delight (well, mostly) and we can't wait to return in 2024 with more utter nonsense!
Additional note: This is a rare time when we'd suggest watching the episode too - our YouTube has the completely unedited version where you can see the board too, and also more importantly the frustrated faces that get made when another punny clue is revealed.

Find out just how much those ping pong balls are worth, because we are back for our fifth season of new/old Wie is de Mol episodes - and we're going back to 2011's offering in El Salvador & Nicaragua! Over these ten weeks, three guys who know all about deeply unsexy pillow fighting - Logan, Michael & Bindles - have been recapping and looking back at all that happened on the trip through two countries that we still can't quite believe they visited, concluding with the final two episodes, elimination of Karin and reveal of Patrick as the Mole.
In this episode - we're forced to date the podcast, Logan tries to rescue some pride, we wonder if Soundos & Karin could have stopped Art, Michael notices one final thing in the intro, Bindles explains the episode title, there's an Aaf flashback, we explain why Karin didn't return, Michael worries about something in the future past, the virtues of Pieter Jan's backhanded insults are extolled, Soundos' comments about her future children ages really well, we spoil a season of Expeditie Robinson, the award for most inept test taker in WIDM history is given out, there's a bit of unintentional foreshadowing, the hidden clues get praised, we eulogise Pieter Jan's WIDM seasons, someone doesn't go down well on a rewatch, the Mole gets ranked, an old Mole gets a shoutout, the final set of suspicions are revealed, the season gets eulogised and we wonder if El Salvador & Nicaragua would have been visited if HD wasn't a thing.
Thank you for listening - we will see you on December 11th - our tenth anniversary - for Episode #500!
Please note: This season is intended on being spoiler-free, so please watch the episodes along with us. As with our coverage of Seasons 14 & 17, there would ordinarily be no spoilers due to Logan not having seen the season before, but this is the last episode of the season, so it's a free for all now! In addition, any season we have already covered (WIDM 10, 14, 17-23 and Renaissance; Belgie 4-11) is fair game.
Additional note: You may have noticed this is Episode #499. I wonder what could be coming next...
