Choose the period clip, because we are back for our third season of new/old Wie is de Mol episodes - and we're going back to 2010's offering in Japan! Over the next nine weeks, our global bondje of gobshites - Logan & Michael - will be recapping and looking back at all that happened in the Land of Samurai, Shogun and the Rising Sun, beginning with the premiere episode and elimination of Loretta.
In this episode - we explain why we picked this season, Logan hands out an award, Michael's unironic favourite is revealed, there is a forgotten WIDM cameo, we adapt a Belgian feature just for Pieter Jan, there is a very recognisable piece of music to fans of British TV, Logan compares WIDM to prison, nobody understands the second challenge, we wonder why everyone laughed at Loretta going home, a small bit of forgiveness is offered and we discuss what the Mole actually did, as well as acknowledging the original subtitler of this season and wondering if the Mole had too many people already on their trail.

Please note: This season is intended on being spoiler-free, so please watch the episodes along with us. As with some of our previous Historical seasons, there is a small spoiler section at the end of the episode - starting at 43:51. Any season we have already covered (WIDM 17-22 and Renaissance; België 4-10) is fair game though. Due to the nature of this episode, there is also a discussion about the ending of WIDM Season 3.

By now, you have probably heard the news about Logan's fiancée Jee-An's death on Sunday, 12th June 2022 and understandably we took a step back from our plans to release Wie is de Mol: Japan episodes beginning June 29th as a result of this.
 
In this special announcement episode, Michael returns to explain the plans for our Historians seasons going forward and also present a clip from an episode in our Japan season recapping what actually happened.

Whistle for the Liar

Lay your molebook down, as we are back for De Mol België's tenth season! Over the last nine episodes, two guys who always rewind to check the hairline - Logan & Michael - have been trying to avoid barking up the wrong tree and falling for Papa Bear's dastardly tricks and traps, aiming to answer that one elusive question - who the newest Mole is in this season set in the Canary Islands, concluding with this week's reunion episode.
In this episode - we do a quick runthrough of our previous fortnight, including an almost-kidnapping, a potential shoplifting and a nightmare airport scenario, there's a little bit of housekeeping after last week, one of us nearly becomes the Mole's final victim, we make a plea to the network, Michael turns the tables after eight long weeks, Production get more praise for how they handled Philippe's exit, we wonder if Anke would have won, Michael spots a clue, Yens invests in some heavy machinery, an old friend pops by, we try and work out the timeline of the first challenge, all of Logan's dreams come true, we try and rank the season, the stats get brought out to try and explain whether the Mole was successful and we reveal what's next (after Hunted stops inconveniencing us)!

With Philippe's departure last week, there was a Mole vacancy - and as a result, it wasn't fair to keep up First Suspicions. For the first time ever, Second Suspicions is live!
